Privacy on a private yacht: what to clarify

Private charter means your booked guest group has the yacht under the agreed arrangement. It does not mean there is no crew or service staff aboard.

Ask about spaces and service

Clarify which areas guests may use and how staff move through them. If photography or a private conversation is planned, discuss the practical setup in advance.

Agree image preferences

Tell the organiser if you do not want photographs used publicly. Obtain guests' consent before sharing their images, and make separate arrangements for commercial content.

Set realistic expectations

Explain what privacy means for your occasion. Specific requests are easier to address than a general assumption that every part of the yacht will be unobserved.
