Build around basic needs
Plan food, shade, bathroom access and rest before adding decorations or activities. Tell the organiser the children's ages and confirm supervision responsibilities.
Keep the celebration manageable
Arrange a group photograph and cake at an agreed time. If adults want an optional activity, make sure children have appropriate supervision and a comfortable alternative.
A calmer finish
Avoid placing the main celebration at the very end when young guests may be tired. Leave time afterwards for relaxed conversation and an orderly return.
