A couple's shoot does not require a long list of complicated poses. Comfortable clothing, a gentle pace and a photographer who understands your preferences can be more useful.

Choose simple scenes

Conversation at a table, looking towards the city and relaxed movement around approved areas provide variety. Avoid copying unsafe poses from social media.

Keep private time separate

Set aside a limited photography period and leave time afterwards to enjoy the cruise. If a surprise is planned, discuss it privately with the photographer.

Ease into the session

Start with conversation and natural movement before direct portraits. Many people find this more comfortable than immediately holding a pose for the lens.
