Planning a swimming stop during a yacht charter

Swimming is not automatically part of every route. It depends on a suitable location, conditions and the captain's decision. Mention it early if it is important to your group.

Check access and equipment

Ask about getting into and out of the water, including the ladder and available equipment. Discuss children's needs or mobility concerns separately.

Allow time afterwards

Returning aboard, showering and changing take time. Confirm towels and washing facilities, and avoid scheduling the main meal immediately after everyone leaves the water.

Have an alternative

Agree how to enjoy the period if swimming is not possible. A relaxed cruise and time on deck can keep the day pleasant without forcing the original plan.
